My husband has tried EVERYTHING! Redwing, Ariat, Justin and wore these boots for years. However, he now has plantar fasciitis, and nothing helps. We have even tried every orthotic insert possible. Recently a friend said he also suffered from foot and heel pain and swore by the Brunt boots. I said I didn't care what they cost if they worked! So being skeptical since we had tried all the highly recommended boots and orthotics already, I bought them hoping for the best but no actual expectation of them working. WRONG!!! He says they are the best boots ever and swears by them. He is a retired firefighter of 29 years, and we have a construction company so he's always on his feet. He has even seen a foot specialist and the dr said his ankle ligaments are shot and needed foot surgery for the plantar fasciitis and would be off his feet for at least 6 weeks. That is not an option.... So, my plea is to keep more of the color's standard. I went to order the dark brown in the Ohman and the Marin 6" comp toe lace-up and both are out of stock. Even light brown in the Marin comp toe lace up size 11 is out of stock and the Redwood. I had to be the bearer of bad news to the hubby and let him know none of the boots he wanted in his size was available. Looking forward to the restock ASAP!!

I own a construction type job. But I do different type jobs from one job to the next. From interior to exterior. From walking on concrete to being in mud. The Ohmans Worked great. But the thing I knew would test them is standing on a single rung ladder for hours a day when the job I was on called for it. The first day I had these Ohman boots I had to work on a ladder that day and several days after. . It was awesome!!! Usually by then my feet would be so sore. But it was the Best my feet have ever felt and that’s 100% honest. These bottoms on the ohman can handle just about anything I have thrown at them. Haven’t had long enough to know how they last but if like the rest of it then they will do good. I’m planning on buying the black and the new brown in the Ohmans also. Thanks guys for a well made boot. Can’t stress how great the bottoms r. I wear to work and to church on Sundays half the time!!!

I had previously bought a pair of 6 inch Marin lace up boots as I was looking for something supportive and comfortable and lightweight to wear following an accident of falling off a roof (five operations on my left foot!) and at the time I ordered the Marin boots had not known that my true foot size was 14, rather than 13, and I can't wear them, they aren't big enough and there isn't the same room for my toes in the Ohman's rounded toe. So I decided to try my luck with the 14 Ohman boot and so far, the boots are comfortable and seem to actually have helped rehab my foot somewhat. I was previously always wearing tennis shoes, the only other 14's I had at the time, and though I could wear them, did not provide the same comfort as the Ohman boot do presently. I'm an accountant and I wear them to the office so I use them for different purposes other than the trades.
