The Marin 6” Met/PR Waterproof (Comp Toe) is an innovative approach to the classic moc-toe wedge style work boot that overdelivers on safety and protection without sacrificing comfort. Built to tackle the toughest jobsites, this boot features an interior metatarsal guard that shields the top of your foot from falling tools and equipment, and a puncture-resistant plate that stops nails and sharp debris from breaking through the bottom of your boot. The proprietary waterproof membrane keeps your feet dry and our BRUNT FARMGUARD™ leather extends the life of your boots while repelling rain, mud, oil, piss, and sh*t. We recommend BRUNT’s Leather Conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. Yes, every BRUNT boot has a variety of ASTM ratings. They are also EH rated, slip and oil-resistant, and feature high-heat resistant outsoles up to 572˚F.

All of our safety toe boots come with an innovative nano composite design that provides a great fit, is 15% lighter than steel, and does not conduct heat or cold. It’s a more comfortable alternative that meets a variety of ASTM ratings for safety and durability.

All of our waterproof boots feature a two-part system that consists of a premium waterproof leather sourced from USA steer and an interior waterproof bootie that locks out moisture.

Our internal met guard protects the top of your foot from crush injuries caused by falling or rolling objects. Unlike external guards, the internal design stays out of your way and won't catch on ladders or equipment, while still meeting ASTM/CSA standards and hardening on impact to protect your metatarsal bones. This extra protection is especially important in heavy equipment operation, construction, and anywhere overhead work means dropped tools are a major risk.

A PR plate stops sharp objects like nails and metal shavings from penetrating through the bottom of your boot. It's built from flexible and durable materials that deliver comfort while stopping hazards underfoot and providing extra protection for construction sites, demolition work, roofing, scrap yards, and other environments where hazards are unpredictable.

    WOW! Hard to believe it is a Met Guard

    I was so excited to see that Brunt was offering a Met Guard. I have had to wear Met Guard boots for work for nearly the last 20 years. I probably have 10 pairs that I just could not break in and wear. The Marin Met Guard, straight out of the box, has been amazing. I can't wait to see how they feel after a bit of breaking in. Thank you, Brunt, for making this boot.

    All day comfort!

    6 months in, and I still love lacing up my Marin met guards! Working in the steel industry I’ve tried multiple brands, and had always hoped brunt would make a met guard with the wedge sole. The only changes I would make is an 8” boot, and the brunt toe added to the lineup.

    And way these can get made in a 90 degree heel, 8 inch height and steel or comp toe. I’m a railroader and need those specs.

    I have saw these advertised a lot and wanted to try a pair. I have had my boots for about a week if not two and they have already broken in and are amazingly comfortable and waterproof! Definitely one of the best pair of boots I have had in my life so far. I also bought the extra cushion insoles which are amazing. Highly recommend Brunt work boots. I work in a facility that builds locomotives and would love to see an all black pair of these Met/PR boots with a 90 degree heel. If I could have a pair like that it would meet all the requirements where I work and I am positive a lot of people where I work would most likely get a pair.

    Outstanding work boot

    Exceptional quality and comfort. When you spend 16+hrs a day with boots strapped to your feet, these boots set the bar. This is my second pair of Brunts and I will never buy another brand again.
