The Marin 6” Met/PR Waterproof (Comp Toe) is an innovative approach to the classic moc-toe wedge style work boot that overdelivers on safety and protection without sacrificing comfort. Built to tackle the toughest jobsites, this boot features an interior metatarsal guard that shields the top of your foot from falling tools and equipment, and a puncture-resistant plate that stops nails and sharp debris from breaking through the bottom of your boot. The proprietary waterproof membrane keeps your feet dry and our BRUNT FARMGUARD™ leather extends the life of your boots while repelling rain, mud, oil, piss, and sh*t. We recommend BRUNT’s Leather Conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. Yes, every BRUNT boot has a variety of ASTM ratings. They are also EH rated, slip and oil-resistant, and feature high-heat resistant outsoles up to 572˚F.

All of our safety toe boots come with an innovative nano composite design that provides a great fit, is 15% lighter than steel, and does not conduct heat or cold. It’s a more comfortable alternative that meets a variety of ASTM ratings for safety and durability.

All of our waterproof boots feature a two-part system that consists of a premium waterproof leather sourced from USA steer and an interior waterproof bootie that locks out moisture.

Our internal met guard protects the top of your foot from crush injuries caused by falling or rolling objects. Unlike external guards, the internal design stays out of your way and won't catch on ladders or equipment, while still meeting ASTM/CSA standards and hardening on impact to protect your metatarsal bones. This extra protection is especially important in heavy equipment operation, construction, and anywhere overhead work means dropped tools are a major risk.

A PR plate stops sharp objects like nails and metal shavings from penetrating through the bottom of your boot. It's built from flexible and durable materials that deliver comfort while stopping hazards underfoot and providing extra protection for construction sites, demolition work, roofing, scrap yards, and other environments where hazards are unpredictable.

    I put it off - you shouldn't

    When it came time for the annual replacement of work boots last year I looked at these, lingered a bit, and ultimately said "meh, they're too expensive". I ended up with another pair of boots from another manufacturer that barely lasted a year. When it came time this year to get new boots I didn't even look anywhere else - went straight back to the Brunt boot I was looking at the year before, didn't hesitate, and hit buy. I've been wearing these for over a week now and the change is obvious. First of all, they look great and I have received multiple comments on them. Second, the comfort is truly unmatched. I was initially worried they were too snug but the way they suck to your feet keeps them from sliding around and giving you hot spots. Most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned. Lastly, quality appears to be top notch. I am only a week in but they are holding up very well, stitching looks robust, laces aren't showing any wear, and the leather itself is top notch. Really glad I finally caved in!

    WOW! Hard to believe it is a Met Guard

    I was so excited to see that Brunt was offering a Met Guard. I have had to wear Met Guard boots for work for nearly the last 20 years. I probably have 10 pairs that I just could not break in and wear. The Marin Met Guard, straight out of the box, has been amazing. I can't wait to see how they feel after a bit of breaking in. Thank you, Brunt, for making this boot.

    All day comfort!

    6 months in, and I still love lacing up my Marin met guards! Working in the steel industry I’ve tried multiple brands, and had always hoped brunt would make a met guard with the wedge sole. The only changes I would make is an 8” boot, and the brunt toe added to the lineup.
