COOKIES, ONLINE ANALYTICS, AND TAILORED ADVERTISING
- Cookies and Other Similar Technologies
As described above, we and our third-party vendors may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and other similar technologies on our Site and in certain communications to you (e.g., as described above, emails may contain web beacons). Cookies are small text files that are stored on your browser or device. They serve a variety of functions, including enabling the Site to function properly, allowing you to stay logged into your account, personalizing the Site (e.g., remembering your language preferences), helping us analyze use of the Site, and assisting with advertising and marketing our products and services. Web beacons and pixels operate in your browser or in your email program and can run operations on your device (such as reading and writing cookies) and can send information from your device to us or third parties. They can help us with various activities, including to track e-mail response rates, identify when our emails are viewed or forwarded, measure or improve the success of our marketing campaigns, and provide information about your device, your actions on the device, and your interactions with the Site.
Certain of our third-party vendors may also associate information collected via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies with other information about you, such as your email address or mailing address, for purposes including assisting us with marketing. We may use such information to send you marketing communications via email or direct mail. If you do not want us to collect such information about you, please contact us to opt out using the contact information in the “Contact Us” section below or by accessing your opt-out options at My Privacy Choices.
Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you may be able to modify your browser settings to decline cookies or notify you when a cookie is being set. You may not be able to opt out of “essential” or “strictly necessary” cookies that are necessary for the Site to function. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to sign in or use some of the features offered on our Site, and the Site may not function as intended. If you have multiple devices/browsers or change devices/browsers, or if your browser automatically clears cookies, you will need to disable cookies for each such computer or browser and may need to re-select your choices every time you visit the Site.
2.Online Analytics
We may use third-party web analytics services on the Site, such as those of Google Analytics 4. These analytics services use cookies and other similar technologies, as described above, to help us analyze use of the Site, including by noting the third-party website from which you arrive. The information collected by such technology will be disclosed to or collected directly by these services, who use the information to evaluate your use of the Site and your online behavior. Some state laws may deem our sharing of your Personal Information with Google to be a “sale” of your Personal Information. You may opt-out of our selling your Personal Information at My Privacy Choices.
We do not control Google’s use of your information. We encourage you to visit Google’s Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites to exercise your options as to Google’s collection and use of your information. You can see how Google collects and uses your information through this site: https://myactivity.google.com/. To prevent Google from using your information for Google’s analytics, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
3.Tailored Advertising
We may allow third parties, including ad networks, ad servers, and other advertising partners, to place cookies or other similar technologies (as described above) on your browser or device to collect information about you to assist in the delivery of relevant advertising either related to our products and services or related to other products and services on other websites you visit and other online services you use. These ads may be based on your current activity or your activity over time and across other websites and online services and may be tailored to your interests. For example, if you visit our Site, you may see ads for our Site on other websites you visit. Some state laws refer to this as targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt-out of targeted and cross-context behavioral advertising at My Privacy Choices.
We neither have access to, nor does this Policy govern, the cookies or other similar technologies that may be placed by third parties on the device you use to access the Site through a website or app not controlled by us. If you are interested in more information about tailored browser advertising and how you can generally control cookies from being put on your computer to deliver tailored advertising, you may visit the Digital Advertising Alliance ("DAA") Consumer Choice Page or the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") Consumer Opt-Out Page for more information and to opt out of receiving tailored advertising from companies that participate in the DAA and NAI programs. You also may opt-out from Google Analytics for Display Advertising or the Google Display Network by using Google’s Ads Settings.
Opting out from one or more companies listed on the DAA Consumer Choice Page or the NAI Consumer Opt-Out Page will opt you out from those companies' delivery of interest-based content or ads to you on the browser that you use to perform the opt-out, but it does not mean you will no longer receive any advertising through our Site or on other websites. Also, if you replace, change, upgrade or reset your browser or device, or delete your cookies, or use a browser that automatically clears cookies, you may need to use these opt-out tools again. Additional information is available on the DAA and NAI sites. We do not control the DAA and NAI opt-out mechanisms, nor do we make any representations about the effectiveness or continued availability of these mechanisms.
4. Do Not Track / Universal Opt-out
Do Not Track is a privacy preference that users can set in their browsers. We do not currently recognize or respond to browser-initiated Do Not Track signals, as the Internet industry is currently still working on Do Not Track standards, implementations, and solutions. We continue to monitor the availability of tools that provide a universal opt-out mechanism. Please note that Do Not Track is different than the legally recognized Global Privacy Control opt-out signals referenced below.
Your browser may offer a way to activate the Global Privacy Control signal (“GPC”). Our Site acknowledges GPC opt-out signals from qualifying browsers for which the user has activated the GPC signal to opt-out of targeted advertising, sale of Personal Information, or for both. Any opt out preferences you have exercised through these methods will only apply to the specific device/browser on which you made them. In addition, you can override our treatment for a GPC-enabled browser by clearing your cookies or using a browser that automatically clears cookies. In that case, “sales” or “sharing” via cookies and similar technology in those categories may resume on that browser. For more information on the GPC, see www.globalprivacycontrol.org.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Individuals under the age of 18 are not authorized to use the Services. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect “personal information” (as defined in the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) from children under age 13. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child, please contact us by email at crew@bruntworkwear.com.
THIRD PARTY LINKS
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites or services. The collection, use, and disclosure of your Personal Information by third parties will be subject to the privacy policies of the third-party websites or services, and not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read the privacy and security policies of third parties before providing information to them.
PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to update this Privacy Policy at any time. You can see when this Privacy Policy was last updated by reviewing the “Effective Date” at the top of this Policy. We may provide you with notice of material changes to the Privacy Policy as appropriate under the circumstances. UNLESS OTHERWISE INDICATED, ANY CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY WILL APPLY IMMEDIATELY UPON POSTING TO THE SITE. Your continued use of the Services indicates your acknowledgement of and consent to the Privacy Policy as posted.
