The Marin 8” BRUNT Toe™ packs all the comfort and versatility of our bestselling boot with an extra dose of durability and plenty of additional ankle support. The classic moc-toe work boot features an innovative exterior toe cap and heel guard that protects those high-wear areas from breaking down. It comes fully equipped with waterproof and barnyard-resistant  FARMGUARD™ leather sourced from U.S. steer to keep your feet dry, and defend your boots from the damaging effects of oleic acid, urea, sodium chloride and ammonium hydroxide. The Marin 8" BRUNT Toe features an innovative slip-, oil-, and heat-resistant rubber outsole that delivers enhanced protection and performance. Ideal for tradesmen who work on their knees and jobs that need some extra muscle, the Marin BRUNT Toe™ extends the life of your daily boots and protects your feet from rough jobsites.

Matt Marin is one of my first childhood friends and the namesake for one of our bestselling boots. At a young age he joined a carpenter’s union and was quickly promoted to foreman. He really appreciated the moc-toe boot style, but was sick of paying a hefty price each time he needed a new pair, and hated the break-in period that came with it. The Marin 8” BRUNT Toe™ Waterproof (Comp Toe) boot is built from leathers sourced from U.S. steer - the highest quality hides available. At 2 lb. 3 oz (size 9) with a cemented construction, it delivers premium, durable materials without the extra bulk.

We recommend BRUNT’s Leather Conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. For best results, apply with our 100% horsehair brush - built for precise cleaning and conditioning.

    Loving these boots!

    I must say that in the last 20 years in construction, I have never before had a pair of boots that didn’t need some kind of “break in” time. Danners, Georgia’s, all of them needed some tweaking, oiling or just wearing them in. I also always needed to order wide boots or they would squeeze my foot to death. But these beautiful ******** were perfect from the first time I slipped them on! I didn’t even have to remove the insert. With Brunt my feet actually feel normal. The only thing I am curious about is how long the tread on the bottom will last considering it looks considerably thinner than the boots I am used to. I love these things so much I already ordered a second pair (“6 version of the same). If Brunt keeps doing business the way the have been and not going the way of Danner (boots that were $220 are now almost $400), I feel safe in saying I will never buy a boot from anyone else until the day I die.

    Awesome boots first time buyer

    Amazing quality noticeable as soon as you touch them. Very comfortable and conventionally made to get on and off. Not as heavy as they look and very stable!
