We caught up with Eli Vastbinder about life off-the-bull and his new Vastbinder boot at his home ranch in Statesville, NC.
The boots are well constructed, look nice and was told they are very comfortable and hold up well at work.
Can’t walk all day in them. Worst heel pain I’ve ever had from a pair of work boots
Fill great a little loose but really nice boots .I have two pair the soft toe fits a little tight and the safety toe is a little loose but I like them both.
So I have been wearing the same brand boots for over 26 years in oilfield and they last about six months and I had to buy another pair. So I saw the brunt boots advertisements on TikTok and other places my company buys two pair a year of any kind of boots as long as a steel toe. I have to have a waterproof steel toe composite toe something that’s breathable and that will last. Currently, I have been on one location for two weeks. It’s raining muddy nasty climbing up and down tanks and trailers. These boots are amazing my feet don’t sweat they don’t leak. I hope they don’t ever leak. I’m really impressed with the height of them the color of them the design I would definitely buy more pairs. I also my coworkers I asked about him. I told him to try them on to fit him, showed him how the insole comes out for wide foot which I wear a 10 1/2 wide, but I left the I left the standard insole in and they fit great my coworkers love them. I have five guys that say they’re gonna order some soon. I recommend burn boots for anybody that wears boots that’s on their feet all the time walking in different situations rocks from water climbing up and down ladder stairs I get these boots off the chart score delivery is fast. I like the 30 day warranty or guaranteed to if you don’t like them the great boots.
These boots took little, to no time at all to break in and are some of the most cushioned western style work boots I’ve ever owned. And they are more affordable than most other composite toed boots I’ve come across.
The primary benefit of a square toe boot is the increased comfort it provides due to a wider toe box, allowing for more room for your toes to spread out naturally. Great for people with wide feet or who need to be on their feet for long periods of time; making them ideal for ranch work or everyday wear where comfort is prioritized.
BRUNT builds comfort into every inch of our boots. Our signature triple-layer BRUNT CUSH’N® insoles feature a nonstick top layer, a memory foam midlayer, and a cushy bottom layer - and our new BRUNT CUSH’N® midsole provides even more lightweight cushioning, and up to 30% energy return.
Because of their reinforced build, welted boots are built to take a beating and they provide a higher degree of stabilization for your foot and ankle which makes navigating uneven footing much easier. And because of the mechanical bond created in the welting process, a Goodyear welt has best-in-class waterproofing, plus a resoleable design that allows you to replace the outsole to extend the overall life of the boot.
When it comes to a welted boot, think uneven terrain and unpredictable conditions. A welted boot is incredibly durable by nature and is best suited for heavy-duty jobs. To name a few specific trades who would benefit from a welted boot: road workers, commercial builders, pipefitting and welding, resource extraction, railroad, linemen, and waste workers.
A Goodyear welted work boot features an additional midsole layer that’s built into the boot to create torsional rigidity for additional stability and durability. This welt is formed by connecting the upper part of a shoe to the midsole of the shoe in a three step process: stapling the upper to the insole, stitching the upper to the insole, and then stitching the upper and the midsole together. This physical entanglement of fibers creates a very strong mechanical bond between the two main parts of the shoe, and provides a very durable build with a high degree of waterproofness. It also allows the outsole of the boot to be replaced—or “resoled”—after extended periods of hard use.
