Welted Construction

Welted boots use a durable, resoleable Goodyear welt construction - a method where the upper is stitched to the sole with a tough leather welt. That stitch creates a stable, hard-wearing bond that holds up on the most demanding jobsites. These boots are fully waterproof and ultra-durable, built with an extra midsole layer for added support, and made to go the distance - shift after shift.

Different jobs need different soles. Two common types are the wedge sole and the 90° heel, each designed for different work environments. Which is right for you?

Wedge sole boots have a flat bottom with a more shallow tread pattern that delivers even weight distribution and all-day comfort on hard, flat surfaces like concrete and shop floors - making them a favorite among factory workers, ironworkers, and carpenters. The lack of a defined heel also means they are less likely to track mud and debris.
90 Degree

90 Degree

Boots with a 90° heel, also known as defined or block heels, feature a distinct, sharp angle where the heel meets the sole that catches ladder rungs and grips uneven ground. The aggressive tread patterns often paired with 90° heels offer superior traction in mud, gravel, and on slippery surfaces, making them best for construction workers, loggers, and linesmen.

Matt Marin is one of my first childhood friends and the namesake for one of our bestselling boots. At a young age he joined a carpenter’s union and was quickly promoted to foreman. He really appreciated the moc-toe boot style, but was sick of paying a hefty price each time he needed a new pair, and hated the break-in period that came with it. We recommend BRUNT’s Leather Conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. For best results, apply with our 100% horsehair brush - built for precise cleaning and conditioning.

    Excellent customer service.

    Love these boots. Have had many pairs now and they tend to last longer than many other brands, in my demanding field. Most recently I had a pair for several months when some stiching started coming loose in the heel. Emailed Brunt customer service, and without any hassel or issue told me they expect more out of their gear and sent me a brand new pair!which arrived within days. Excellent customer service.

    Waited a year to order them, biggest regret was waiting so long!

    Absolutely most comfortable boot I have put on my feet so far, I have bunions on my big toes and these are not a problem on them at all I also have a high arch on both feet, they feel fine with the standard insoles that come with them but I also ordered the high arch support insoles for me the high arch are amazing but aren’t even really needed. I’m on my feet from before the sun comes until after it’s already down and with these boots I am having no foot pain like I have experienced with other brands of boots. Big thanks to brunt for a perfect boot for my feet. Acts 2:38-40.

    i am hard on work shoes. this is the only shoe that has lasted longer than a year for me. other name brand shoes did not fit and wear like these shoes. they did not need to be broke in like other shoes. they are comfortable from the start. will buy another pair when these wear out ,if they do.
