Welted Construction

Welted boots use a durable, resoleable Goodyear welt construction - a method where the upper is stitched to the sole with a tough leather welt. That stitch creates a stable, hard-wearing bond that holds up on the most demanding jobsites. These boots are fully waterproof and ultra-durable, built with an extra midsole layer for added support, and made to go the distance - shift after shift.

Different jobs need different soles. Two common types are the wedge sole and the 90° heel, each designed for different work environments. Which is right for you?

Wedge sole boots have a flat bottom with a more shallow tread pattern that delivers even weight distribution and all-day comfort on hard, flat surfaces like concrete and shop floors - making them a favorite among factory workers, ironworkers, and carpenters. The lack of a defined heel also means they are less likely to track mud and debris.
90 Degree

90 Degree

Boots with a 90° heel, also known as defined or block heels, feature a distinct, sharp angle where the heel meets the sole that catches ladder rungs and grips uneven ground. The aggressive tread patterns often paired with 90° heels offer superior traction in mud, gravel, and on slippery surfaces, making them best for construction workers, loggers, and linesmen.

We recommend BRUNT’s Leather Conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. For best results, apply with our 100% horsehair brush - built for precise cleaning and conditioning.

    My feet have never felt better!

    I'm on my feet 12 hours per shift. I started with another brand that I had used for years prior. And they absolutely killed my feet on the concrete floor. I bought the Brunt Marin by recommendation from a friend. And I never looked back. It's a night and day difference. My first pair broke after approximately a month. I called Brunt and they sent me a brand new set 3 days later. Easiest customer service department I have ever dealt with. Needless to say this won't be the last pair of boots I buy from Brunt! Great people and great products!

    G.O.A.T. of a boot

    Been wearing these boots for a year now in the oil and gas industry and they have been the best work boots by far. I normally get 7 or 8 months out of my boots and these are still solid 12 months in. The only thing I regret in not getting the marins with the brunt toe. I just ordered the vastbinder boots for a 2nd pair (backup pair) and hope there meet the same expectations. Great job Brunt! P.S. I wear my marins almost everyday working or not.

    Second pair of marins and loving them

    Had a long life on my first pair of marins so I figured id try them again. New pair came after the post office lost them for 12 days but I got them. 3rd day an lace eyelet broke. Took a picture and sent a email and BRUNT had a new pair on the way thr next day. No questions asked. A1 customer service. Ill be a brunt boot customer for a while just on customer service.

    So far the best boot I have purchased. In the construction field and on my feet 12 hours daily, and these are the first boots that keep me from being sore at the end of the day. Highly recommend and will for sure be a repeat customer.
