This version of our bestselling boot features a lightweight, water-resistant build that brings maximum breathability for warmer climates and indoor use. Built with our durable and barnyard-resistant BRUNT FARMGUARD™ leather that keeps your feet dry, this boot is finished with a proprietary slip-, oil- and high-heat-resistant rubber outsole. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. For best results, apply with our 100% horsehair brush - built for precise cleaning and conditioning.

The USA Marin Welted is assembled at our factory in San Antonio, Texas, and crafted with waterproof leather sourced from American cattle and globally sourced components from the best in the business.

Because of their reinforced build, welted boots are built to take a beating and they provide a higher degree of stabilization for your foot and ankle which makes navigating uneven footing much easier. And because of the mechanical bond created in the welting process, a Goodyear welt has best-in-class waterproofing, plus a resoleable design that allows you to replace the outsole to extend the overall life of the boot.

When it comes to a welted boot, think uneven terrain and unpredictable conditions. A welted boot is incredibly durable by nature and is best suited for heavy-duty jobs. To name a few specific trades who would benefit from a welted boot: road workers, commercial builders, pipefitting and welding, resource extraction, railroad, linemen, and waste workers.

A Goodyear welted work boot features an additional midsole layer that’s built into the boot to create torsional rigidity for additional stability and durability. This welt is formed by connecting the upper part of a shoe to the midsole of the shoe in a three step process: stapling the upper to the insole, stitching the upper to the insole, and then stitching the upper and the midsole together. This physical entanglement of fibers creates a very strong mechanical bond between the two main parts of the shoe, and provides a very durable build with a high degree of waterproofness. It also allows the outsole of the boot to be replaced—or “resoled”—after extended periods of hard use.

    A truly stellar boot!

    Great boot - the difference in comfort level between this and the normal Marin's is next level. The American made boot is superior quality and has held up very well. Plus you get USA flag lace charms. Win all around

    Digs into heels and ankles

    Great material and cushions BUT where they've stitched at the heel makes it rub hard-core! Also the extra material to waterproof (i assume) the tongue of the boot has a way to dig into the top of my foot/ankles.

    Was told these boots are beyond comfortable but I am going back to my other brand cuz they are irritating and painful at times
