This version of our bestselling boot features a lightweight, water-resistant build that brings maximum breathability for warmer climates and indoor use. Built with our durable and barnyard-resistant BRUNT FARMGUARD™ leather that keeps your feet dry, this boot is finished with a proprietary slip-, oil- and high-heat-resistant rubber outsole. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. The USA Marin Welted is assembled at our factory in San Antonio, Texas, and crafted with waterproof leather sourced from American cattle and globally sourced components from the best in the business.

Because of their reinforced build, welted boots are built to take a beating and they provide a higher degree of stabilization for your foot and ankle which makes navigating uneven footing much easier. And because of the mechanical bond created in the welting process, a Goodyear welt has best-in-class waterproofing, plus a resoleable design that allows you to replace the outsole to extend the overall life of the boot.

When it comes to a welted boot, think uneven terrain and unpredictable conditions. A welted boot is incredibly durable by nature and is best suited for heavy-duty jobs. To name a few specific trades who would benefit from a welted boot: road workers, commercial builders, pipefitting and welding, resource extraction, railroad, linemen, and waste workers.

A Goodyear welted work boot features an additional midsole layer that’s built into the boot to create torsional rigidity for additional stability and durability. This welt is formed by connecting the upper part of a shoe to the midsole of the shoe in a three step process: stapling the upper to the insole, stitching the upper to the insole, and then stitching the upper and the midsole together. This physical entanglement of fibers creates a very strong mechanical bond between the two main parts of the shoe, and provides a very durable build with a high degree of waterproofness. It also allows the outsole of the boot to be replaced—or “resoled”—after extended periods of hard use.

    **** good boot

    Got mine in September or October of 2025 and have put roughly 900 miles on them walking a Postal plant. Unreal! I’ve had to change the laces, that’s it! Probably should change the cushion inserts for them but I’ve hid them on myself at home. Just a solid boot. Mine are not the soft toe(composite). I appreciate the great product.

    My go to boot for the farm and everyday wear!

    I’ve been putting the Brunt USA Unlined Marin boots through their paces on my 300-acre farm for a bit now, and I genuinely like them a lot. These have become my go-to pair for everything from daily chores to tougher fieldwork. If you’re looking for comfortable, breathable work boots that can handle serious farm abuse without baking your feet in the summer, these deliver. I’ll be purchasing the lined model later in the future for winter. Hoping brunt makes a 8” soft toe lined and unlined as I love 8” boots for winter.

    Amazing boots

    First day the break in killed my feet but after that there amazing! I went with unlined because my feet sweat and they’re great they keep my feet cool. As a plus I got a bunch of free goodies with my purchase boot conditioner which I haven’t used yet stickers and USA boot flags! Great purchase would buy from again and I already did.
