This version of our bestselling boot features a lightweight, water-resistant build that brings maximum breathability for warmer climates and indoor use. Built with our durable and barnyard-resistant BRUNT FARMGUARD™ leather that keeps your feet dry, this boot is finished with a proprietary slip-, oil- and high-heat-resistant rubber outsole. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. The USA Marin Welted is assembled at our factory in San Antonio, Texas, and crafted with waterproof leather sourced from American cattle and globally sourced components from the best in the business.

Because of their reinforced build, welted boots are built to take a beating and they provide a higher degree of stabilization for your foot and ankle which makes navigating uneven footing much easier. And because of the mechanical bond created in the welting process, a Goodyear welt has best-in-class waterproofing, plus a resoleable design that allows you to replace the outsole to extend the overall life of the boot.

When it comes to a welted boot, think uneven terrain and unpredictable conditions. A welted boot is incredibly durable by nature and is best suited for heavy-duty jobs. To name a few specific trades who would benefit from a welted boot: road workers, commercial builders, pipefitting and welding, resource extraction, railroad, linemen, and waste workers.

A Goodyear welted work boot features an additional midsole layer that’s built into the boot to create torsional rigidity for additional stability and durability. This welt is formed by connecting the upper part of a shoe to the midsole of the shoe in a three step process: stapling the upper to the insole, stitching the upper to the insole, and then stitching the upper and the midsole together. This physical entanglement of fibers creates a very strong mechanical bond between the two main parts of the shoe, and provides a very durable build with a high degree of waterproofness. It also allows the outsole of the boot to be replaced—or “resoled”—after extended periods of hard use.

    These boots are comfortable, light, and perfect for the everyday electrician like myself. Made in US!! I loved my Ariats but Brunt has em’ beat!

    A Great boot especially for warmer weather

    I realy like these boots and are comfortable all day long. Built tough and good support. The welted USA built boots fit a little wider than the regular boot and that's what I need because I have wide feet. I can wear the others but buy the end of the day I can feel it. These I can wear all day and my feet feel great. They look great too.

    Comfortable right out of the box

    I normally wear a 14 but they were too big. I was nervous a 13 would be too small but they fit perfectly. Super comfortable. My only regret was not going with the comp toe. I hate typical steel toes but the way these soft toe fit, I expect the comp toe to be similar. Love the color, fit and overall look of these Marin USA welted boots.

    Most comfortable boot I've ever worn

    Straight out of the box and already felt broken in. Really feels like you're walking on pillows and for someone that walk 15 to 20k steps a day is well needed. Also the USA Marin color is the best looking out of all the other Marin boots.
