Engineered with a resoleable Goodyear welt construction for additional support and stability, the Marin 6” Welted Waterproof (Comp Toe) is an ultra-durable boot built for heavy-duty jobsites. It comes equipped with a slip-, oil-, and high-heat-resistant outsole, a nano composite safety toe, a proprietary waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry, and our BRUNT FARMGUARD™ leather to extend the life of your boots while repelling rain, mud, oil, piss, and sh*t. And just like our other Marin boots, this boot brings next-level comfort to the jobsite thanks to the triple-padded ankle collar, our signature BRUNT CUSH’N® insole system, and an ultra-cushioned PU midsole.

Matt Marin is one of my first childhood friends and the namesake for one of our bestselling boots. At a young age he joined a carpenter’s union and was quickly promoted to foreman. The Marin 6” Welted Waterproof (Comp Toe) boot is built from leathers sourced from U.S. steer - the highest quality hides available. At 2 lb. 5 oz (size 9) with a welted construction, it delivers premium, durable materials without the extra bulk.

Our leather is a natural material that develops natural wear over time. How your boots age depends on your work environment and how you care for them. We recommend BRUNT’s Leather Conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. For best results, apply with our 100% horsehair brush - built for precise cleaning and conditioning.

Because of their reinforced build, welted boots are built to take a beating and they provide a higher degree of stabilization for your foot and ankle which makes navigating uneven footing much easier. And because of the mechanical bond created in the welting process, a Goodyear welt has best-in-class waterproofing, plus a resoleable design that allows you to replace the outsole to extend the overall life of the boot.

When it comes to a welted boot, think uneven terrain and unpredictable conditions. A welted boot is incredibly durable by nature and is best suited for heavy-duty jobs. To name a few specific trades who would benefit from a welted boot: road workers, commercial builders, pipefitting and welding, resource extraction, railroad, linemen, and waste workers.

A Goodyear welted work boot features an additional midsole layer that’s built into the boot to create torsional rigidity for additional stability and durability. This welt is formed by connecting the upper part of a shoe to the midsole of the shoe in a three step process: stapling the upper to the insole, stitching the upper to the insole, and then stitching the upper and the midsole together. This physical entanglement of fibers creates a very strong mechanical bond between the two main parts of the shoe, and provides a very durable build with a high degree of waterproofness. It also allows the outsole of the boot to be replaced—or “resoled”—after extended periods of hard use.

    Super comfortable and durable for long work days

    Honestly some of the best boots I’ve had in a long time. I use them for landscaping work and they’ve held up really well through long hours, dirt, and daily wear. The comfort is what stood out the most, I can be on my feet all day and they still feel good. The material feels high quality and durable, and they’ve definitely been put to the test. Overall, solid boots and I’d recommend them if you’re working outdoors.

    This is my 4th pair of Brunt Boots and will not be my last. The BEST thing about their boots is right out of the box the already comfortable!!! No “breaking in “ period!!! All around a perfect boot!!
