Engineered with a resoleable Goodyear welt construction for additional support and stability, the USA Marin 6” Welted Waterproof (Comp Toe) is an ultra-durable boot built for the most demanding jobsites. It comes equipped with a nano composite safety toe and a slip-, oil-, and high-heat-resistant outsole. Plus, it features a proprietary waterproof membrane that keeps your feet dry and our BRUNT FARMGUARD™ leather that extends the life of your boots while repelling rain, mud, oil, piss, and sh*t. THE MARIN STORY

Matt Marin is one of my first childhood friends and the namesake for one of our bestselling boots. At a young age he joined a carpenter’s union and was quickly promoted to foreman. He really appreciated the moc-toe boot style, but was sick of paying a hefty price each time he needed a new pair, and hated the break-in period that came with it. The USA Marin 6” Welted Waterproof (Comp Toe) is a heavy-duty boot built from leathers sourced from U.S. steer - the highest quality hides available. At 2 lb. 6 oz (size 9) with a welted construction, it delivers premium, durable materials without the extra bulk.

We recommend BRUNT’s Leather Conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. For best results, apply with our 100% horsehair brush - built for precise cleaning and conditioning.

And because of the mechanical bond created in the welting process, a Goodyear welt has best-in-class waterproofing, plus a resoleable design that allows you to replace the outsole to extend the overall life of the boot.

What types of jobs are welted boots best for?

When it comes to a welted boot, think uneven terrain and unpredictable conditions. A welted boot is incredibly durable by nature and is best suited for heavy-duty jobs. To name a few specific trades who would benefit from a welted boot: road workers, commercial builders, pipefitting and welding, resource extraction, railroad, linemen, and waste workers.

What is a welted or Goodyear welted boot?

A Goodyear welted work boot features an additional midsole layer that’s built into the boot to create torsional rigidity for additional stability and durability. This welt is formed by connecting the upper part of a shoe to the midsole of the shoe in a three step process: stapling the upper to the insole, stitching the upper to the insole, and then stitching the upper and the midsole together. This physical entanglement of fibers creates a very strong mechanical bond between the two main parts of the shoe, and provides a very durable build with a high degree of waterproofness. It also allows the outsole of the boot to be replaced—or “resoled”—after extended periods of hard use.

Best boot I ever bought in my life hands down.
I have to be honest I was a little skeptic, and I say that, because I wasn't very familiar with your boot. A buddy had mine had a couple of pairs and said they're just outstanding. I work at a concrete facility. So I really need the best durability boot I can possibly get. The boot I purchased the U S A MARINE WELTED WATERPROOF COMPTOE, HANDS DOWN IS THE BEST BOOT I HAVE EVER WORN. The style, most importantly, the fit and comfort the durability outstanding job. I am and will be a new customer from now on. I just want to tell you guys, and girls keep up the great work. For an outstanding, a selection of boots. Thank you so much!!

Great boots.
I'm new to Brunt and I wasn't sure how much I would like them. I opted for the USA vs the imported Marin. Very comfortable right out of the box. I would buy another set for sure.

Foot, knee, and hip pain gone
These boots are by far the most comfortable boots I've ever purchased. To say the have a sneaker like comfort is unfair to the boots. They are way more comfortable than any sneakers I have/had. Chronic foot,knee and hip pain gone within days of wearing them. I wasted alot of money on other boots with what seems 30 different insole's and none compare to these. I will definitely be ordering another more soon for a non work pair. The Black Marin is in my future.
