Welted Construction

Welted boots use a durable, resoleable Goodyear welt construction - a method where the upper is stitched to the sole with a tough leather welt. That stitch creates a stable, hard-wearing bond that holds up on the most demanding jobsites. These boots are fully waterproof and ultra-durable, built with an extra midsole layer for added support, and made to go the distance - shift after shift.

Wedge sole boots have a flat bottom with a more shallow tread pattern that delivers even weight distribution and all-day comfort on hard, flat surfaces like concrete and shop floors - making them a favorite among factory workers, ironworkers, and carpenters. The lack of a defined heel also means they are less likely to track mud and debris.
90 Degree

90 Degree

Boots with a 90° heel, also known as defined or block heels, feature a distinct, sharp angle where the heel meets the sole that catches ladder rungs and grips uneven ground. The aggressive tread patterns often paired with 90° heels offer superior traction in mud, gravel, and on slippery surfaces, making them best for construction workers, loggers, and linesmen.

This version of our bestselling boot features a lightweight, unlined construction that brings maximum breathability for warmer climates and indoor use. Built with durable and barnyard-resistant BRUNT FARMGUARD™ leather to keep your feet dry and extend the life of your boots, the Marin is finished with a proprietary slip-, oil- and high-heat-resistant rubber outsole. The main difference between our Unlined and Lined boots is waterproofness. The lined boots are built from a two-part system that features premium waterproof leather on the outside, and our innovative waterproof bootie on the inside. The Unlined boots feature the same waterproof leather, but are fully unlined on the inside to allow for maximum breathability and a lighter weight experience. They are still highly water-resistant, but not fully waterproof like our Lined boots.

While our Unlined boots feature a premium waterproof leather build, they do not have our innovative waterproof membrane on the inside—making the Unlined boot highly water-resistant, but not fully waterproof.

Unlined boots offer more breathability and are lighter weight than our lined boots. Though they are not fully waterproof, they are still highly water-resistant and can handle light exposure to moisture and mud. They’re best used in hot, humid weather where comfort and breathability are essential.

    Comfort out of the box

    Bought a set of these one year ago. Hard to find a boot that doesn’t have all of the waterproofing and extra material but these fit the description. I was tired o my feet turning into soup with all of the extra linings and waterproofing; I figured if they were going to be wet, it might as well be from outside.

    Worn them in humid states, dry states, frozen states, climbing towers, moving cows, camping, you get the point. These are the first boots I haven’t needed to change insoles out of in the first 4-6 months. Still running the originals and they feel great. The only issue I have had is some stitching around the toe recently started coming loose.

    The new ones have a lined tongue and lining around the ankle… not sure about that as those typical sweat you more, so not happy about that change but I may be a minority. Time will tell if it matters or not.

    Great Boots

    Great boots, they run a little big not huge, but I had to half size down. Very comfortable for me especially since I’m on concrete all day.
