Welted Construction

Welted boots use a durable, resoleable Goodyear welt construction - a method where the upper is stitched to the sole with a tough leather welt. That stitch creates a stable, hard-wearing bond that holds up on the most demanding jobsites. These boots are fully waterproof and ultra-durable, built with an extra midsole layer for added support, and made to go the distance - shift after shift.

Wedge sole boots have a flat bottom with a more shallow tread pattern that delivers even weight distribution and all-day comfort on hard, flat surfaces like concrete and shop floors - making them a favorite among factory workers, ironworkers, and carpenters. The lack of a defined heel also means they are less likely to track mud and debris.
90 Degree

90 Degree

Boots with a 90° heel, also known as defined or block heels, feature a distinct, sharp angle where the heel meets the sole that catches ladder rungs and grips uneven ground. The aggressive tread patterns often paired with 90° heels offer superior traction in mud, gravel, and on slippery surfaces, making them best for construction workers, loggers, and linesmen.

This version of our bestselling boot features a lightweight, unlined construction that brings maximum breathability for warmer climates and indoor use. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. All of our safety toe boots come with an innovative nano composite design that provides a great fit, is 15% lighter than steel, and does not conduct heat or cold. It’s a more comfortable alternative that meets a variety of ASTM ratings for safety and durability.

The main difference between our Unlined and Lined boots is waterproofness. The lined boots are built from a two-part system that features premium waterproof leather on the outside, and our innovative waterproof bootie on the inside. The Unlined boots feature the same waterproof leather, but are fully unlined on the inside to allow for maximum breathability and a lighter weight experience. They are still highly water-resistant, but not fully waterproof like our Lined boots.

Unlined boots offer more breathability and are lighter weight than our lined boots. Though they are not fully waterproof, they are still highly water-resistant and can handle light exposure to moisture and mud. They’re best used in hot, humid weather where comfort and breathability are essential.

    Best work boot ive ever bought

    I have bought 3 total sets of boots from Brunt. 2 pair were/are the Marin unlined comp toe and 1 pair of the Marin lined with protection rubber on the toe. I have been buying work boots every 18 months or so for the last 25-30 years and have tried **** near every brand out there until I bought Brunts....they are comfy, lightweight, and durable (I didnt like the first pair I bought with the rubber toe cause the rubber started peeling off within a couple months) so I put my own toe protection on the unlined boots.

    Awesome boots!

    I got some boots for work, I’m loving them. Looks like they’ll hold up for a long period of time. Will definitely be ordering a pair for at home! For what I normally pay, these were only an extra 20 bucks and I’m liking them more overall in every aspect, everyone also comments on how they look, they’re awesome

    The. Marin comp toe

    Great look, complemented several times, comfortable, and easy to break-in, ready to use out of the box. Runs half size short for me. I simply exchanges them from 8 to 7.5 for men's.
