The Bolduc 9” BRUNT Toe™ Waterproof (Comp Toe) features an exterior toe cap and heel guard that are stitched into the boot to protect high-wear areas from breaking down. A favorite among plumbers, welders, and truck drivers, this 9” slip-on boot is fully waterproof and features our BRUNT FARMGUARD™ leather to repel water, mud, oil, piss, and sh*t. Built with a nano composite safety toe and an innovative slip-, oil-, and high-heat-resistant rubber outsole, the Bolduc BRUNT Toe can tackle whatever the job throws your way.

He started his trades career as a plumber, and is now the Assistant Superintendent of water supply and treatment for the whole city of our hometown. Needless to say, Dan’s day to day requires a tall boot that’s waterproof. We recommend BRUNT’s Leather Conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. For best results, apply with our 100% horsehair brush - built for precise cleaning and conditioning.

BRUNT products are named after the trade workers who help us design and test everything we make. Our friend Dan Bolduc is the Assistant Superintendent Water Services Coordinator for the city of Bristol, CT - and the name behind our pull-on Bolduc boot.

    Literally zero reasons to buy anything else

    Just put my brand new pair side by side with the ones I've worn for a year. Honestly, the old ones are still kicking just fine and have plenty of life left in them, but my company gives us an annual boot stipend and I will be damned if I’m not using that money.

    ​Hands down the most comfortable boots on the market. Zero break in period, felt broken-in right out of the box.

    ​Also, do yourself a favor and get these Bolduc pull on. It saves you time in the morning, and since there are no laces, they’re 100% safe to wear around your psych ward girlfriend. Safety first on and off the clock.

    ​If you're on the fence, just get them. Especially if your company is paying for them.

    **** Tough Boot

    I typically go through a couple pairs of boots a year in my job. I’ve tried them all and have been disappointed many times. Brunt boots are by far the toughest boot I’ve found. The Bolduc has lasted me two years…the inside of the boot was worn out before I had any other issues. Never leaked, the sole never separated, the tread stayed strong. I only wish the Bolduc had a 90 degree heel. Just bought a pair of Sullivans because of that fact. Love the company!

    Comfortable and light

    Super comfortable work boots right out of the box. Waterproofing works great, comp toe doesn’t feel too heavy, and they hold up well on the jobsite. Good grip, solid support, and my feet don’t feel destroyed after a long day. Definitely recommend.
