This version of our bestselling boot features a lightweight, unlined design that brings maximum breathability for warmer climates and indoor use. Built with our durable and barnyard-resistant BRUNT FARMGUARD™ leather that keeps your feet dry, this boot comes equipped with a nano composite safety toe and is finished with a proprietary slip-, oil- and high-heat-resistant rubber outsole. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. The USA Marin Welted is assembled at our factory in San Antonio, Texas, and crafted with waterproof leather sourced from American cattle and globally sourced components from the best in the business.

Because of their reinforced build, welted boots are built to take a beating and they provide a higher degree of stabilization for your foot and ankle which makes navigating uneven footing much easier. And because of the mechanical bond created in the welting process, a Goodyear welt has best-in-class waterproofing, plus a resoleable design that allows you to replace the outsole to extend the overall life of the boot.

When it comes to a welted boot, think uneven terrain and unpredictable conditions. A welted boot is incredibly durable by nature and is best suited for heavy-duty jobs. To name a few specific trades who would benefit from a welted boot: road workers, commercial builders, pipefitting and welding, resource extraction, railroad, linemen, and waste workers.

A Goodyear welted work boot features an additional midsole layer that’s built into the boot to create torsional rigidity for additional stability and durability. This welt is formed by connecting the upper part of a shoe to the midsole of the shoe in a three step process: stapling the upper to the insole, stitching the upper to the insole, and then stitching the upper and the midsole together. This physical entanglement of fibers creates a very strong mechanical bond between the two main parts of the shoe, and provides a very durable build with a high degree of waterproofness. It also allows the outsole of the boot to be replaced—or “resoled”—after extended periods of hard use.

    Runs huge

    I love the boots once I got the right fit. Over the last 3 years I have worn 3 different boots from two brands that were all a size 12. After ordering the brunt Marion I order a 12 but had to send it back 3 times and have now settled into a 10 1/2. I loved the boots so much that is was worth the wait but it was painful as a blue collar worker ordering boots when I needed them and then it takes over a month to actually wear them.

    Usa marin boot

    Nice boot and very comfy. The boot dosent need to be broken in. My only complaint would be the weight of the boot, its a little heavy in my opinion. But over all I like them and I recommend.

    Weird fit

    I am typically an 11. The 11 was too big, so I exchanged for a 10.5. The length is about right, but there is still too much room in the boot. I’ve tried adding insoles, taking some out, lacing differently, but nothing keeps my foot secure. Too much heel slip to ignore. I really wanted to like these so I’m bummed it didn’t work out. Will be replacing these boots that are only a month old.
