I bought my first pair of 8 inch Sullivan's about a year ago and they are great. I've almost cracked through the leather at the top of my toes where they flex( I didn't do proper maintenance and up keep on them or probably could have gotten 2 years out of them) but the soles are still going strong. They are light and comfortable. Love that the all leather tongue is sewn up about 3 inches above
the ankle. I have worked in water just above my ankle and
water never got into it. When I spray the mud off my boots
at the end of the day my feet aren't wet like other work
boots with non leather uppers. The boot opens HELLA
WIDE to get your feet in with no resistance. Boot laces are
solid and haven't had to replace them yet, not even
fraying yet. I would love to see the 8 inch Brunted toe and
heal with say and maybe the same set up with 400 gram Thinsalate and I'd never look at another boot again. Just received my new pair last week and will be oiling them up this weekend. I'm in the dirt ALL DAY with these boots. Unfortunately I kick so much stuff while working, the right boot, the front part of the sole, is separating but water still hasn't gotten into my boot. Great job with the Sullivan BRUNT, thank you.
