The Boot I have been waiting for.
I have owned two pairs of Bolducs and loved them from the first day of wearing. I live and work in South Florida. I am on gravel, dirt, concrete, pavement, swamp muck and climbing onto heavy equipment all day long. I have even stepped in six inch of water during heavy down pours from a hurricane. These boots never leaked. I am hard on boots and the Bolducs would usually last me just over a year. The leather holds up as does the water proofing. However, I would wear out the heels and soles. Then they came out with the Sullivan with a 90 degree heel. I like a pull on boot and hoped they would extend the 90 degree heel to the Bolduc. Then to my surprise they came out with the Rault. Just what I was looking for and wanted to try. I ordered them immediately since it was time to replace my Bolducs. They arrived quickly and just like the Bolducs fit perfect and comfortable from day one. I really like the grippier soles and the 90 degree heel. Far more stable on uneven ground and climbing. I also ordered the high arch inserts which really help in comfort. The comp toes has plenty of room in the toe box so you don’t rub your toes. These are great. Now just waiting to see how well the heels and soles hold up. Will let you know in about a year.
