: If you really boil it down, a solid work jacket should do two things: protect you from harsh jobsite conditions and keep you warm in the cold-weather months. The Couvee hits those benchmarks, but in a way that’s never been done before. Crafted from our custom BRUNT Performance Fabric that’s lighter, stronger, and stretchier than standard canvas, we eliminated the stiff, boxy feeling while increasing the durability. On the inside, we lined The Couvee with a lightweight quilted insulation for just the right amount of warmth, and finished it with a unique pocketing system. Needless to say, this jacket isn’t close to the standard—it’s redefining what a work jacket can be.
: I first met Hank Couvee a couple years back in 2019 on an ATV trip out in New Hampshire. We became fast friends and this was during a time when I was just about to launch BRUNT. Hank is a lifelong tradesman—having worked on his family’s egg farm in western Massachusetts as a kid, and later specializing as a heavy equipment operator in Boston.
