Cemented Construction

Cemented boots use a high-strength adhesive to bond the sole directly to the upper part of the boot. That means less break-in time, more flexibility, and less weight on your feet. Perfect if you’re on the move all day and need comfort right out of the box.
Welted Construction

Welted Construction

Welted boots use a durable, resoleable Goodyear welt construction - a method where the upper is stitched to the sole with a tough leather welt. That stitch creates a stable, hard-wearing bond that holds up on the most demanding jobsites. These boots are fully waterproof and ultra-durable, built with an extra midsole layer for added support, and made to go the distance - shift after shift.

This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. The primary benefit of a square toe boot is the increased comfort it provides due to a wider toe box, allowing for more room for your toes to spread out naturally. Because of their reinforced build, welted boots are built to take a beating and they provide a higher degree of stabilization for your foot and ankle which makes navigating uneven footing much easier. And because of the mechanical bond created in the welting process, a Goodyear welt has best-in-class waterproofing, plus a resoleable design that allows you to replace the outsole to extend the overall life of the boot.

When it comes to a welted boot, think uneven terrain and unpredictable conditions. A welted boot is incredibly durable by nature and is best suited for heavy-duty jobs. To name a few specific trades who would benefit from a welted boot: road workers, commercial builders, pipefitting and welding, resource extraction, railroad, linemen, and waste workers.

A Goodyear welted work boot features an additional midsole layer that’s built into the boot to create torsional rigidity for additional stability and durability. This welt is formed by connecting the upper part of a shoe to the midsole of the shoe in a three step process: stapling the upper to the insole, stitching the upper to the insole, and then stitching the upper and the midsole together. This physical entanglement of fibers creates a very strong mechanical bond between the two main parts of the shoe, and provides a very durable build with a high degree of waterproofness. It also allows the outsole of the boot to be replaced—or “resoled”—after extended periods of hard use.

    The comfort of these boots are absolutely incredible, however, after only a couple weeks the liner broke free and almost locked my foot into the boot.

    Best boot company!!

    I this is not my first pair of brunt boots I loved them so much when I seen they had a slip on cowboy style boot i purchased it with high expectations and this product exceeded it putting them through the roughest durability test and over a year later after the roughest conditions I ended up in a motorcycle accident my foot was crushed in a T boned accident by a car against my Harley if I was wearing steel toes my toes would have been sliced off if I was wearing regular shoes my whole foot would be crushed but these brunt boots with their composite impact resistant toe saved my foot and my toes

    You never know if reviews can be trusted or not these days. We'll when it comes to these boots BELIEVE what you read!! These are definitely the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. There was no break in period, no weird rubbing, nothing. I just put them on and away I went. Its like your wearing regular shoes. The leather is soft and comfortable as can be. I came out of a pair of ariat boots that were 389.00!!! So to say i was pleased that a pair of 200 dollars boots were better then those is an understatement!! I will be a life long customer forsure!!!
