From oily workshop floors to muddy farm fields and everywhere in between, the Marin 6” Unlined Soft Toe is built for workers across a variety of trades. This version of our bestselling boot features a lightweight, unlined construction that brings maximum breathability to warmer climates and indoor use. Built with durable and barnyard-resistant FARMGUARD™ leather sourced from Texas steer, the Marin 6” Unlined Comp Toe is finished with an innovative slip-, oil- and heat-resistant rubber outsole that delivers enhanced protection and performance on the jobsite. It’s an innovative approach to the classic moc-toe wedge style that over delivers on comfort every time you lace them up.

Matt Marin is one of my first childhood friends and the namesake for one of our bestselling boots. At a young age he joined a carpenter’s union and was quickly promoted to foreman. He really appreciated the moc-toe boot style, but was sick of paying a hefty price each time he needed a new pair and hated the break-in period that came with it. We worked with Matt to create a boot that is lighter on your wallet, comfortable right out of the box and packed with all the features he needed on the jobsite. —Eric Girouard, Founder & CEO
We recommend BRUNT’s leather conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend offers the ultimate protection and acts as an added barrier from the elements and scuffs. Use our 100% horse hair brush for precise cleaning and conditioner application.
Complete Your Uniform
BRUNT products are named after the trade workers who help us design and test everything we make. This is our buddy, and Eric’s childhood friend, Matt Marin. Matt is a Superintendent at Century Drywall, and the name behind our bestselling Marin work boot.
Great looking and excellent fitting boots. They look and feel so good that I don't want to get them dirty but that's what they're made for. The only sensible thing to do is to get a 2nd pair that I can keep clean.
I love the fit of these boots. After struggling with and returning a lined pair due to the tongue rubbing my ankle bones, this boot solved all those issues. Comfortable enough to wear on my 1-3 mile walks on gravel roads to then wear all day around the property doing chores. The huge toe box keeps my piggies moving freely.
Boots are the best!
Nice boot so far still breaking them in I’m a farmer so we will see how they hold up I’m kind of hard on boots
These are some amazing boots. I ordered a brown set and loved them so much ordered a black pair.
I believe they are very reasonably priced and the most comfortable boots on the market in my opinion. These boots will be the only boots I buy.
Yes, every BRUNT boot has a variety of ASTM ratings. They are also EH rated, slip and oil-resistant, and feature high-heat resistant outsoles up to 572˚F.
The BRUNT SWITCH-FIT™ adjustable width system gives you a custom fit in seconds. Easily switch your boots from a regular fit (D) to a relaxed fit (EE) by removing the gray insert from below your insole. One boot. Two fits. All-day comfort.
The main difference between our Unlined and Lined boots is waterproofness. The Lined boots are built from a two-part system that features premium waterproof leather on the outside, and our innovative waterproof bootie on the inside. The Unlined boots feature the same waterproof leather, but are fully unlined on the inside to allow for maximum breathability and a lighter weight experience. They are still highly water-resistant, but not fully waterproof like our Lined boots.
While our Unlined boots feature a premium waterproof leather build, they do not have our innovative waterproof membrane on the inside—making the Unlined boot highly water-resistant, but not fully waterproof.
Unlined boots offer more breathability and are lighter weight than our Lined boots. Though they are not fully waterproof, they are still highly water-resistant and can handle light exposure to moisture and mud. They’re best used in hot, humid weather where comfort and breathability are essential.
