Matt Marin is one of my first childhood friends and the namesake for one of our bestselling boots. At a young age he joined a carpenter’s union and was quickly promoted to foreman. He really appreciated the moc-toe boot style, but was sick of paying a hefty price each time he needed a new pair and hated the break-in period that came with it. We worked with Matt to create a boot that is lighter on your wallet, comfortable right out of the box and packed with all the features he needed on the jobsite. —Eric Girouard, Founder & CEO
We recommend BRUNT’s leather conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend offers the ultimate protection and acts as an added barrier from the elements and scuffs. Use our 100% horse hair brush for precise cleaning and conditioner application.
BRUNT products are named after the trade workers who help us design and test everything we make. This is our buddy, and Eric’s childhood friend, Matt Marin. Matt is a Superintendent at Century Drywall, and the name behind our bestselling Marin work boot.
This was my 4th pair, not because the other ones are worn out but because I like changing them out here and there. Got unlined, lined. Tan black. I work Aerospace and got a few co workers to buy these boots. Definitely found my brand 👊🏻
Amazing boots and Very good quality. super comfy too
Been wearing them long hours and they do not disappoint. Customer service is also top tier !
Working 12 hour warehouse shifts, finding the right steel toe boot is detrimental. The company pays for our boots thru specific dealers and I have never been able to find anything $49-$239 (cheap-name brand) that fit comfortably or pain free until Brunt work boots. The affordable outta pocket expense well worth it. Customer service also the best I’ve dealt with! Definitely my go to from now on.
Boots are exactly as advertised, best boot I have ever owned
Yes, every BRUNT boot has a variety of ASTM ratings. They are also EH rated, slip and oil-resistant, and feature high-heat resistant outsoles up to 572˚F.
The BRUNT SWITCH-FIT™ adjustable width system gives you a custom fit in seconds. Easily switch your boots from a regular fit (D) to a relaxed fit (EE) by removing the gray insert from below your insole. One boot. Two fits. All-day comfort.
All of our safety toe boots come with an innovative nano composite design that provides a great fit, is 15% lighter than steel, and does not conduct heat or cold. It’s a more comfortable alternative that meets a variety of ASTM ratings for safety and durability.
The main difference between our Unlined and Lined boots is waterproofness. The Lined boots are built from a two-part system that features premium waterproof leather on the outside, and our innovative waterproof bootie on the inside. The Unlined boots feature the same waterproof leather, but are fully unlined on the inside to allow for maximum breathability and a lighter weight experience. They are still highly water-resistant, but not fully waterproof like our Lined boots.
Unlined boots offer more breathability and are lighter weight than our Lined boots. Though they are not fully waterproof, they are still highly water-resistant and can handle light exposure to moisture and mud. They’re best used in hot, humid weather where comfort and breathability are essential.
