Beanies have worked out great. Got them just in time for the cold front that swept across the US. I have a pretty big bald head and I noticed that the weave opens more than usual which reduces the insulating affect, but that is ok because I sweat regardless of the temp. The one issue I experienced is when I washed them in cold water and dried them on low heat, they shrank to the point they don’t cover my full ears. This is not a flaw in material or craftsmanship in my opinion but it is what it is. I will continue to use them as needed.
