BRUNT products are named after the real workers in the trenches who help us design and test everything we make. Lee Ohman is a union electrician by day and a self-taught woodworker by night. Check out his story and see why we named the Ohman boot after him.
These are hands down my favorite boot I’ve ever owned. I work in these 14 hours a day and still would wear them out and about. Easy to slip on and they stay on, no slipping.
Excellent fit, comfortable right out of the box. I also have the 6” Marin comp toe and those are awesome as well! Comfort comfort comfort
Design and Build Quality
What a great looking boot. I’ve had several compliments on them. The leather on these feel great. It does take a couple weeks for it to really soften up and conform to your foot. The ability to slip these on and go is great. I’ve seen some comments on the pull tab on the heel saying it’s too big. But I’m a decent sized guy (6’2 195 lbs.) and it’s nice to have a decent sized pull tab that allows a bigger finger to fit into it easily. Nice job on the little details Brunt!
Comfort and Fit
I thought getting a size 11.5 would be a smart move since I usually wear a size 12 in Nikes, but I was wrong. The fit wasn't snug at all. My foot had way too much room to move around, and there was a lot of heel slip, which wasn’t going to work with all the walking I do. I ended up downsizing to a size 11, and that turned out to be the perfect fit length-wise. I did measure my foot so that I can give some people an accurate sizing for this boot and possibly save you a return. My foot measures exactly 11” from the tip of my big toe the heel. Now the insoles on the size 11 measure exactly 11 3/4 inches. That might seem like a lot of extra room for your foot to slide around. But if you look at the pictures of the insoles I included, you will see the heel of the insole has an incline or a raised lip. The picture with the ***** driver is pointing to where the back of my heel actually sits on the insole. I’m not sure if the design is meant to push your heel up into the…
If you’re reading comments where the boots aren’t holding up or blah blah blah. They’re wrong. I’ve put the soft toe comp toe and Marin everything I could throw at them and still holding sturdy and probably have years of wear left in them. Make sure if you can try some on that you do I’m a half size down from tennis shoe sizing
Love these! Easy and quick to slip on, comfortable for all day wear.
