Welted Construction

Welted boots use a durable, resoleable Goodyear welt construction - a method where the upper is stitched to the sole with a tough leather welt. That stitch creates a stable, hard-wearing bond that holds up on the most demanding jobsites. These boots are fully waterproof and ultra-durable, built with an extra midsole layer for added support, and made to go the distance - shift after shift.

Different jobs need different soles. Two common types are the wedge sole and the 90° heel, each designed for different work environments. Which is right for you?

Wedge sole boots have a flat bottom with a more shallow tread pattern that delivers even weight distribution and all-day comfort on hard, flat surfaces like concrete and shop floors - making them a favorite among factory workers, ironworkers, and carpenters. The lack of a defined heel also means they are less likely to track mud and debris.
90 Degree

90 Degree

Boots with a 90° heel, also known as defined or block heels, feature a distinct, sharp angle where the heel meets the sole that catches ladder rungs and grips uneven ground. The aggressive tread patterns often paired with 90° heels offer superior traction in mud, gravel, and on slippery surfaces, making them best for construction workers, loggers, and linesmen.

We recommend BRUNT’s Leather Conditioner to help you get the most out of your work boots. This proprietary blend of mink oil, beeswax, and natural additives protects and extends the life of your leather. The mink oil replenishes natural oils, while the beeswax seals them in and adds a barrier against scuffs and tough jobsite conditions. For best results, apply with our 100% horsehair brush - built for precise cleaning and conditioning.

    I have three Brunt boots. This is my favorite one.

    I have three Brunt boots. This is my favorite one. I have foot paint and have spent a few years in HOKA's and trying various insoles still not ridding me of pain. Brunt with the thin insole and my after market insole combined offer me the best results. It's such a relief to find a perfect boot. I have the limited black marin as well and another style Brunt boot. The soft shell in this one and the limited are perfect. I don't need the hard comped toe when at work and wear the comped when on my motorcycle. So worth the price of admission! Why I have three.

    Great first impression

    I just wore mine on the the job today for the first time. Im a railroad switchman so I walk on ballast and climb onto railcars all day and I had also ordered some superfeet work insoles. These things were comfortable right out the box and lightweight enough I didnt have any issues. We’ll see how they hold up but for first impressions they’re really comfortable boots even with 6” height they did the job pretty dang well.

    Love 'em so far

    I've only had these boots a couple of days. So far, so good. They fit as advertised. Take out the inner liner and voila, EE width. It surprised me how it made. I bought to get more ankle support and they're great.
